There is a bus stop within walking distance of Model Walk, with services to Chesterfield, Clowne and Worksop. Creswell rail station is a ten minute walk from the development and offers regular services to Worksop, Mansfield and Nottingham. Junction 29 of the M1 is only five miles away, connecting Creswell with Chesterfield, Sheffield and Nottingham.

Creswell has two local schools - Creswell Church of England Infants School and Creswell Junior School. Both schools are a three minute drive from the development. Secondary education is provided by Outwood Academy Portland in nearby Worksop.

The village of Creswell boasts a range of amenities, including food and grocery stores, a post office, pharmacy, florist, fish and chip shop and coffee house. Larger supermarkets, namely Tesco and Aldi, are located in nearby Clowne. Creswell Medical Centre and Creswell Dental Practice are both within a 13 minute walk of the development. 

Leisure

Creswell Crags is a five minute drive from the development. Visitors can enjoy a walk around the limestone gorge or explore the large number of caves and museum, before stopping off at the cafe for a sweet treat or drink. Sherwood Forest Railway, Go Ape and Tropical Butterfly House are all within 10 miles of Model Walk. With direct services from Creswell rail station, the vibrant city of Nottingham is less than an hour away. Best known for being the legendary home of Robin Hood, the university city is also renowned for its nightlife, wide choice of restaurants and shopping centres.
